"LIFE IS EITHER A DARING ADVENTURE OR NOTHING."

Before spending the months of July and August in the Fjords of Norway, I never imagined that I’d be having a trip through the country again. However, those two month have convinced me of the beauty of Norway. And, it showed me how it can be one of the best countries in the world for photography. Before our visit, I knew that photographing the Fjords would be magical. I also knew that there were some pretty epic landscape photography locations. But I had no idea of the diversity of imagery one can make here. It’s everything from street photography to landscapes to wildlife.

I’ve been desperately excited to announce this trip since visiting The Fjords of Norway in the summer of 2017. We’re going to be doing an adventure-series photography tour of Norway! This trip will be part camping, part cruising, and all adventure. We’re going to get out and hike some incredible locations, and photograph some spectacular places.

THE NORWAY PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR ITINERARY

The Norway Photography Tour Itinerary Like all of the adventure series trips, the itinerary is not set in stone, nor does it follow a per-minute guide. Weather and climate situations can cause changes to “the plan”. That said, we will follow as closely to this schedule as possible.

Day 1: Welcome to Oslo, Norway´s Capital City
Day 2: The village among the mountains "Geilo"
Day 3: Spectacular Norwegian Fjords and waterfalls
Day 4: Hardanger bridge and Steindalsfossen waterfall
Day 5: Fjords of Norway and Balestrand Village
Day 6: Free day in Balestrand!
Day 7: Jostedal National Park and Glaciers
Day 8: Loen Skylift and Geiranger
Day 9: The Eagle Road and the beautiful town of Ålesund
Day 10: The Troll Road and the Olympic city of Lillehammer
Day 11: Olympic City Tour: Lillehammer
Day 12: Day spent Shopping
Day 13: Departure from Oslo

It should be noted that even on days where there will be driving involved there will be photography. Most of the drives are between 3-4 hours. So, there’s still plenty of time for photography. Almost every day there will be an optional sunrise photography shoot, a sunset shoot, and loads of opportunities midday too.

Overall, The fjords of Norway is absolutely epic. And, I’m excited to take another incredible 13 day adventure trip in July 2020! In the meantime, these are the places I photographed on the trip.
